Save a Heart Ball Keeps Growing

Minimize

THUNDER BAY, ON - November 12, 2009 - If you are one of those people in Thunder Bay Peter Humeniuk and Vince Mirabelliwho waits for the last minute to get tickets to events, they you will be one of those people left wishing you could be attending the Save A Heart Ball. Tickets are completely sold out for the last month. There are 410 people able to attend. The number of attendees continues to climb, this year, in the midst of what some are calling a recession, ticket sales are up by 20%.

Vince Mirabelli the Chair of the Save a Heart Ball commented, "In the first 3 years of the Save A Heart Ball, we have had over 1,000 attendees and raised over $100,000". Tickets sold out very quickly this year, and the event is becoming one of the social events of the season in Thunder Bay.

The event, presented by Downtown Volkswagen will be held at the Valhalla Inn. There will be an an exquisite gourmet dinner, and dancing to the sensational sounds of Ti Amo. As well, there will be spectacular auctions with a wide range of items for the lucky people attending the event to bid on.

The list of contributors and sponsors is almost too large to dare try to mention for fear of offending anyone left off. The support that Thunder Bay businesses and individuals offer to the event is massive, and continues to grow.

Some of the items include some great local art.
Peter Humeniuk, Artist in Residence at Lake Superior Art Gallery presents a watercolour painting along with a Water Colour Workshop Certificate  to Vince Mirabelli.

If you want to attend this exciting event, the best advice is to get your tickets early for next year's ball.
If you are trying to reach Mirabelli this week, and you get told his voice mail box is full, it is just another indication of how this event continues to grow.
